Jasgun Ventures was able to provide high-precision 3D laser scanning along with scan-to-BIM services of a 16-story, 160,000 sq. ft. high-profile commercial building in Baltimore, MD. The team transformed various functional data of the site to proper LOD 300 & 400 BIM models, which allowed easy coordination of architectural, structural, and MEPFP.

Despite incomplete data concerning sites and the requirement for a centralized FM-ready model, the team was able to scan precise 2mm data, using Autodesk Recap to process point clouds and build a COBie-compatible digital twin in Revit.

The contracted deliverables involved a walkthrough video, clash-coordinated BIM model, logs of interpretations, including as-built drawings. This aided in facilitating the management of the facilities, retrofits, insurance, and future extensions.
